contemporary ink ownership stamp of John Stirling to front pastedowns, contemporary calf, gilt decorated spines with contrasting morocco labels, upper board of volume 1 detached, other joints cracked and some wear, 8vo, together with [Bartlett, W.H.], Pictures from Sicily, published by Arthur Hall, Virtue & Co., 1853, twenty-four engraved plates only (of 33, including frontispiece and additional engraved title), 16 pp. publisher's advertisements to rear, occasional scattered spotting, top edge gilt, original gilt decorated cloth, joints split and some wear, 8vo, with Crawford (Francis Marion), The Rulers of the South, Sicily, Calabria, Malta, 2 volumes, 1900, numerous black & white plates and illustrations, two folding maps, top edge gilt, remainder untrimmed, original cloth gilt, 8vo, plus nine others, including Sicily related, mostly 20th century publications
